Auburn Artist, Theresa Haight has been involved with glass since 1975. First with stained glass window commissions then sand blasted art windows and finally falling in love with fused glass.

Fused glass construction is much like constructing a stained glass window. You design your piece, cut the glass , can incorporate etching and painting, but then instead of leading the glass together one fuses it together in a kiln at a very high temperature After the initial fusing the art piece is flat. To obtain a shape it is then placed on a mold and fired again - thus obtaining your finished glass art.
