Drawings and Paintings

This show marks several milestones for Karen. For 35 years she has been an art teacher at American River College. She has been a member of The Artery for 10 years, and her 60th birthday arrives in November. Celebrating her many years of making and teaching art, Karen presents a collection of still lifes, landscapes and abstract acrylic paintings, as well as various media drawings. Because Davis School Arts Foundation have provided so much support for the arts, Karen has set aside a selection of small unframed drawings priced at $75. Proceeds from these sales will go to the Arts Foundation.
Joining Karen will be her friend of over 40 years, Victoria Clark, from Austin, Texas. Victoria will display her handmade knitted scarves of various fabrics, colors and designs.
