When I was young, I wanted to go to art school.  My parents persuaded me to go to a liberal arts college and I ended up pursuing a career as a Dietitan.  I am thankful for this choice, but when I retired four years ago, I decided to learn more about watercolor. I’ve taken lessons from teachers in the Fair Oaks area and I find myself painting everyday. I really  enjoy painting California landscapes. The light and the colors offer so much inspiration.
